Quick Conversion Formula
Fahrenheit to Celsius
°C = (°F − 32) × 5 ÷ 9 Celsius to Fahrenheit
°F = (°C × 9 ÷ 5) + 32 Fan Oven (Convection) Adjustment
If your recipe is written for a conventional oven and you're using a fan/convection oven, reduce the temperature by 15–20°C (25–30°F). Fan ovens circulate hot air, baking more efficiently.
Fan Oven Rule
Conventional temp minus 20°C = fan oven temp. Example: 180°C conventional → 160°C fan.
